1. General information about the Bosch IoT Marketplace

1.1 What is the Bosch IoT Marketplace?

The Bosch IoT Marketplace is an IoT business platform hosted by Bosch. It enables selling and buying of IoT software and solutions. For the corresponding hardware, links to other online shops are provided. The platform brings together providers and customers. This platform is the perfect breeding ground to generate new business models in the area of IoT.

1.2 What is available on the Bosch IoT Marketplace?

Currently, the Bosch IoT Marketplace provides offerings of IoT software and solutions from the Industry 4.0 area and links to online shops, where corresponding hardware can be purchased. In the future, various IoT software, solutions and hardware from several industries (Industry 4.0, Connected Mobility, Smart Cities, Smart Home) will be available on the Bosch IoT Marketplace.

1.3 How do customers benefit from the Bosch IoT Marketplace?

Customers profit from one central platform to subscribe and use Bosch IoT software and solutions. In the future, connected hardware and offerings from partners can also be purchased. They can enjoy subscription models that enable customers to determine their IoT business at their own pace.

2. Access the Bosch IoT Marketplace

2.1 How can I create a Customer Account on the Bosch IoT Marketplace?

First, you will need to create your Bosch ID here, which gives you access to Bosch’s online platforms. After account creation, you will receive an email to activate your account. Once you created a Bosch ID, you are able to register for the Bosch IoT Marketplace. If you already have a Bosch ID, you can directly register for the Bosch IoT Marketplace.

Click on "Sign in / Register" in the top right header of the Bosch IoT Marketplace. You will then be asked to login with your Bosch ID. After successful login, a registration page will be displayed. Click on the button "Register my company". Afterwards, the registration form will be displayed. Please fill out the "Company data" and the "Personal data" sections.

After you have completed all mandatory fields and read the Data Protection Notice of the Bosch IoT Marketplace and agreed to the Terms of Use, you will be registered for the Bosch IoT Marketplace. You will receive an email notification as soon as your account is activated. After activation, you can purchase IoT software and solution on the Bosch IoT Marketplace.

2.2 How do I get started as a Bosch IoT Marketplace user?

After your company administrator has created a Customer Account for your company (see FAQ 2.1), he or she can add several users to this Customer Account. Once you are successfully added as a user, you can access all IoT software, solution and hardware offerings and manage your account. 2.3 Will I be charged when registering on the Bosch IoT Marketplace?

Registering and accessing the Bosch IoT Marketplace is free.

2.4 What can I do if registering my company or my personal registration as a company administrator went wrong?

In this case, please contact us via e-mail to support.iot.ecosystem@bosch.com. We will be happy to help you resolve the problem.

2.5 What can I do when my request to be added to my legal entity on the Bosch IoT Marketplace is declined?

Your request to be added to your legal entity on the Bosch IoT Marketplace has been declined by your company administrator. Please contact your company administrator for further details.

3. User Account on the Bosch IoT Marketplace

3.1 How can I cancel a current contract with the Bosch IoT Marketplace?

For cancelling a current contract, please send us your cancellation request via e-mail to support.iot.ecosystem@bosch.com. Please tell us your Order ID, which can be found on your Order History. Information about contract duration and termination is available on the product pages or in the Terms and Conditions for those specific products. The contract will be cancelled by the next possible date according to those Terms and Conditions.

3.2 Where can I view my personal data?

You can see your personal data under "My Profile" on the Bosch IoT Marketplace. To change this data, please send us your change request via e-mail to support.iot.ecosystem@bosch.com. This process may take up to two working days.

3.3 How can I change my password?

For changing your password, click on "My Profile". A link will forward you to your Bosch ID Account where the password can be changed.

3.4 How can I delete my Bosch ID?

Please start the process here to delete your Bosch ID.

3.5 Where can I delete my User Account for the Bosch IoT Marketplace?

If you want to delete your User Account, please click "My Profile". If you have any difficulties, please send us an e-mail to support.iot.ecosystem@bosch.com. We will be happy to help you resolve the problem. This process may take up to two working days.

4. Product offering on the Bosch IoT Marketplace

4.1 How do I get more information about products offered on the Bosch IoT Marketplace?

Further details about products provided on the Bosch IoT Marketplace are available on the product pages under the menu item "Solutions". Here you can choose an offering by selecting a specific sector (Industry 4.0., Connected Mobility, Smart Home, Smart Cities) or a specific product type (Software, Solution, Hardware). By clicking on the name of a solution, the specific product site will open. If there are any other questions, please contact us via e-mail to support.iot.ecosystem@bosch.com.

4.2. How to place an order?

Click on the button "Configure" on the specific product details page. Here you can also choose your preferred product variant(s). To place an order, the product specific Terms and Conditions need to be accepted and the product specific Data Protection Notice has to be observed.

4.3 How do I get access to my purchased products?

As soon as we accept your order request, you will get access to your purchased software or solution. To use your product, you need to visit your Order History Page.

If you have purchased a software license, you can download your product by clicking on the download button on the Order History Page.

If you have purchased a service, you can authenticate yourself with the Order ID, which is visible on your Order History Page.

If you have purchased a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, you will receive your credentials via e-mail to the e-mail address connected with your Customer or User Account.

4.4 What do I do if the credentials or the download button for my purchased product does not work?

This may be due to several reasons. Please contact us via e-mail to support.iot.ecosystem@bosch.com. We will be happy to help you resolve the problem.

4.5 Where can I buy corresponding hardware for software applications offered on the Bosch IoT Marketplace?

The specific product page contains information and a link for purchasing the corresponding hardware. When you click on the link, you will be redirected to the online shop or a list of online shops where you can buy the relevant hardware components.

5. The Bosch Developer Portal

5.1 What is the Bosch Developer Portal?

The Bosch Developer Portal is a platform made for developers to build new software solutions by interacting with APIs, SDKs and IoT services offered by Bosch. Based on Bosch products and services, developers will be inspired to build new software solutions that are Invented for Life.

5.2 How can I access the Bosch Developer Portal?

The Bosch Developer Portal can be accessed at developer.bosch.com. In order to use all functionalities of the Bosch Developer Portal, you will need to register on the platform. The registration process is similar to that of the Bosch IoT Marketplace described under FAQ 2.1.
